About the Founders
Welcome to Metzcor! We are Ashleigh and Michael Metz, the founders and owners of Metzcor. We were both born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati, and we couldn't imagine building our business anywhere else. Together, we have over 20 years of experience working with adults with exceptionalities, and the love and joy they've brought to our lives is beyond what we could ever ask for.
Many ask where our love of this field comes from. The story is simple. Michael began working as a DSP in a residential setting when he was 18. Shortly after starting, he invited Ashleigh on an ice cream date with the individuals he worked with because he knew she would fall in love with them... he was right! From that day forward, our entire lives have been centered around working with the most amazing group of people you could ever meet.
Adult Day Program
Participants will follow a curriculum to help them gain independent living skills, meet new friends, and find what brings them joy throughout the day. They can join a club, discover new hobbies, volunteer, and enjoy programming on-site and in the community.
Medical Support
Our dedicated and compassionate team includes an on-site RN (registered nurse) who provides medical care, tube feedings, and medication administration to those who need this support.
Transportation
Metzcor currently has 18 well-maintained vans and buses in service, providing best-in-class transportation to and from our community campus on a daily basis! We also offer community outings throughout the week for all participants in our programs.
Weekend Respite
Vocational Habilitation
For those individuals interested in gaining employment skills, our vocational habilitation program is a great place to start! We focus on building confidence, time management, hygiene, and any skill needed to enter the workforce!
Employment Support
Our job coach assists participants to obtain jobs as well as ongoing support to maintain employment. We work with partnering employers right here on campus making the transition to employment a breeze!
